If you haven't had the famous Sports Grill "Special Grilled Wings" then you're missing out on something great. Do yourself a favor and have them for lunch....TODAY. Don't take them to-go because they wont tast the same and they'll lose their crunch. The waffle fries, Dolphin Ceasar salad and tenders and fries are good too. Great chill spot to watch a game / fight on tv. I've been a customer of the SG on Sunset for almost a decade. I stopped coming altogether after a couple rough visits to the Kendall and Westchester locations but the wings are just too good to ignore. So I'm back. Hopefully for good.

Been coming here for years. This is a nice neighborhood bar to go to in the Hammocks. Service is consistently good even on their busiest nights. Special Grilled Wings are my favorite and a must. Do plan on smelling like a deep fryer or just don't bother taking a shower before coming here...you will need another one! It's just way too smokey in there. That is my one and only gripe. Still not a deterrent for me. Cheers!

I LOVE this place!!!! It's always a great time and the wings are the BEST I've ever had EVER!!!! We always order the special grilled wings, the shrooms, and sometimes the waffle fries..Can you say DELISH!!! We've attempted to try and order something else but it doesn't seem like a good idea.. It's like who goes to a steak house and orders spaghetti..HA HA HA It does get smoky and walking out you can still smell the wings on your clothes and hair but the wings are grilled indoors what do you expect . . . The atmosphere is strictly sports bar You'll always hear loud conversation and great laughs and see some sport event going on the TV . . SO if your not into that don't go cause we don't want to hear your complaints I've been to almost all locations but I prefer this and the sunset location.

This Sports Grill has a very friendly staff. Food is unbelievable and good size portions. The staff is very friendly and the owner is always walking around welcoming and talking to the customers. It is very family friendly and has several televisions. They try to accommodate your requests for the event you wish to watch. Only time this is hard to do is when Hurricane football is on. I think the House Special wings are the best in Miami. The other menu items are also good as well.

I'm a little confused as to why this place is listed as a four star restaurant. A few coworkers and I decided to give this place a try since one of them is OBSESSED with chicken wings (she orders them whenever we go to happy hour; even if she can't find them on the menu). Let me start off by saying that from the outside, the place looks closed. Extremely dark windows make the place look shady. When I walked in it was dark inside and I couldn't see too well to find my coworkers until my eyes adjusted to the change. One of my coworkers had to use her phone as a flashlight to see the menu because it was so darn dark inside! The place doesn't look very clean; maybe that's why they have to keep the lights so dim! Our waitresses hung out at the bar talking the entire time we were there. When we were able to get the waitress' attention, We tried to order about 40 wings. I asked if 2 of us could make 2 orders of 10 only drumsticks and was told that they don't do that anymore. I told her we would pay more, whatever the fee is, because we simply don't like flappers. She said she couldn't do anything about it. We asked if we could speak to the manager because that's $20 she would loose over a simple accommodation. She said no so we said forget it. Others is the group ordered Conch Fritters which were completely burnt. Don't order them... Gross. Another person ordered the Chicken Tenders with French Fries. Chicken was good but the fries were burnt. We told the waitress and her reasoning is that they're burnt because they are freshly peeled. She gave us waffle fries instead which were okay but needed salt. The beers were a great price. This is the reason they received one star. Yuengling beer was $2.50 and only $1.25 during happy hour which starts at 4pm. They have Sangria which my coworker did not really like either. Then the time came to grab the checks. Our waitress said she could not split the bill because we didn't tell her from the beginning of our order. We told she could mark things with our initial or a number so she could know who had what. That bill was still screwed up and was handed down on the table with an attitude. Would my coworkers and I come back here? No thanks, we'll pass... So should you.

Love this place. Great wings and ice cold pitchers. Service is always great too. I just wish it was a bit bigger and had some more pool tables. They only have one table and it's always being used. Would like to be able to play a game of pool one day. Other than that we love this place.

I need to start off by saying this place is amazing. at first I was kind of weirded out by the fact that, several people serve you, but in the months I been coming here something has became really clear, they are all on point, they know my usual and our food always comes out in 5 to 10 minutes tops even on a busy night and that's impressive. now as far as the food goes. I only order the buffalo wings and the waffle fries with nacho cheese and chili, both things are my favorite on their menu. I've tried other things but I honestly didn't like those other items very much. but i love this place so much I come here at least once a week. I def recommend it!

I faithfully follow yelp for places to eat, and it NEVER fails me...suckily enough, not till TODAY. I guess we all have our bad days but, my oh my, this experience probably doesn't event deserve that 1 star. My boyfriend and I loooooove going on yelp, finding a new 4-5 star restaurant/place to eat and enjoying it fully. Today, that did not happen. Maybe the little short blonde haired server lady was having a bad day or something but, she has disclosed to us that they "don't do any seasoning on their food here. No salt, no pepper" .. just a good pound of meat or a tenderloin piece of chicken and just slap it on that SPORTS GRILL. My boyfriend ordered the Sports Grill Burger and I order the "Tenders and Fries." The server asked him how he wanted his burger cooked and he said "medium" & well, I guess I was expecting too much, cause I was expecting some delicious, juicy, grilled chicken tenders...I guess it's cause I'm Hispanic. When the food got to us, his burger was well-donedone and my little cute chicken tenderloins looked like dry, shriveled up, tasteless tenderloins. SAAAAAD. When they finally came to ask how we were, I decided that this time around, instead of packing up my sucky food in a box, throwing it out, and paying for more food at a different place later, that id say something. So, I did...& the nice lady with the longer dark hair, took it back with no problem. Shortly after, our short haired blonde server "friend" comes back and asks "what was wrong with your burger..." after we had already explained to the other server. But, calmly and patiently, I went on to explain to her, as well. "He had asked for his burger medium and my chicken was a bit tasteless and stiff." She then tells me "we don't use seasoning. we get the chicken tenderloin and put it on the grill." She looks at my boyfriend and says "same for the burger. So if you guys were expecting something because of some other places, it's not how we do it here." Silent I stayed. & just thought, where was my easy apology & explanation that my new food will be out shortly? Why did I just get the explanation that Sports Grill just simply doesn't actually COOK food? Needless to say, they brought the new food, & this time the burger was practically not cooked at all, and at least I got regular ol' chicken fingers this time. We asked for a box, payed for this shitty food, that wasn't even half eaten, & went home to share the regular ol' chicken fingers. (which were aiiiiiggghhhhtttt. but you at least can't go wrong with chicken fingers.) & well, that was today's experience. Bloop. Sadly enough, I'm a big tipper and I didn't leave anything but a sad face. :,(

When it comes to food I tend to love what's in that moment but quickly move on to the next best thing. That said, bar food is my passion. Beer, fries, burgers and loud noise are definitely my thing. I've been to many sports bars always claiming them to be my favorite. Now I'm saying it again. This Sports grill by far has the best Dolphin Sandwich. I can't attest to the rest of the food. So I will base this review solely on the beer, fries and said sandwich. I loved it. The tartar sauce was exceptional. Different from others in that it was more mustardy then mayonnaise. The bun was soft and sweet. All the ingredients tasted fresh and paired perfectly with the tartar. The fries were perfectly seasoned and fried. I ate every single one of them. Even the tiny burnt hard pieces. As I sat in the restaurant indulging in my meal, I kept telling my husband "how is it that we've lived in this neighborhood for 13 years and have never been here". Service was quick, seating was easy, and food was good.

Sports Grill Hammocks: When I first walked in I was kinda worried bc apart from no seating theres was really no waiting area for us to wait for a server to attend us to have us seated. We stood by the bar for 3-5 minutes before someone actually attended to us. Service: On point. The lady attending us was awesome and veryyy helpful. Food: The special grilled wings were awesome, the bbq wings were awesome, the chili cheese fries were awesome, the garlic wings were meh! No flavor and to much garlic and oil. Beer: Nice and ice cold just like I like it. Inside: Place is pretty neat inside. Has that very sports bar feel to it. Has a pool table, some arcade machines. Overall: Would defenitely return.

Chicken wings are really good and the half basket of onion rings is big The wings are very meaty Service was good and the environment feels friendly good place to watch. Sports TV Lots of TVs

Must try the grilled ribs. Remember to ask for grilled flavor not BBQ. It gets busy during games so be prepared.

Without a doubt the best wings l have ever had!!! Super fast service and everything else on the menu is really good. Nice environment with televisons all over the place. Super friendly staff and Greg the owner is so pleasant and genuine. My wife and l come here about once a week.

Been coming here since I was 15 and I am 23 now. The staff here are friendly and it's been the same people which tells you that they get treated well which let's them treat the customers just as good if not even better. They have great wings and love their fries and their chicken fingers (fried) are good. I recommend getting the cheese sauce if you get fries and chicken fingers it's amazing.

Repeat review.... I have visited multiple Sports grill locations and they all are the same... which is a good thing. Only difference will be service, but overall they are always good. Some locations a bit better than others. Review: Waffle fries with cheese, special grilled wings and $1 beer specials.... sounds like a decent time to me. They do have some of the best wings around and the rest of food is good as well. Nothing amazing or mindblowing to mention. But a great sports day eat or a simple hangout!

I don't know what it is about THIS sports grill, but they are so much better than the other sports grills! I don't mind at all driving out of my way to come eat at this one. Friendly staff, lots of TV's, and the yummiest wings in town.

  • Tim L.

Great for burgers & beer. Definitely not gourmet. If you want a "foo foo" salad and a glass of Chardonnay, go somewhere else. Burgers, Wings, etc. are great. Be prepared to change your clothes when you get home, though, because you will reek of grease!

Sports Bar no fuss no muss.. Service is fast. The food is the star. The grilled special grilled wings with the celery and blue cheese (ask for the hot sauce on the side). Cheese fries have just the right amount of crispness and sogginess. Smoked fish is excellent. Good food for the value.

Too many food violations for my taste! Always smokey inside. That means lack of cleaning! Go to the one near Sunset an US1. Thats the real thing!

  • Miah P.

Yummy, consistent food. All the waitresses are friendly and great at their jobs. Beer is served in a mug so cold it becomes slush - amazing. Fries are crunchy and hot, the cheese sauce makes the meal. Super cheap lunch specials, with big portions. Every time I get the lunch dolphin Caesar salad I can't finish all of the fish. The owner is usually there - and you see the same crowd almost daily. Pool table, several TV's, a few arcade games, and a juke box make this a cool place to get some beers with a group. Solid restaurant - I recommend it. Bathrooms are shockingly clean also.

If you're use to Sunset Sports Grill you might be disappointed with Hammocks... Onion rings not the same... No chipotle sauce and different coating.. Had Philly Cheese Steak and they forgot the Jalapeños I asked for... Sandwich was ok and not cut in half. Spoiled by Sports Grill Sunset.. The Original Sports Grill!

I wanted to try the wings but didn't get the chance to; however, I had the Chicken philly and my husband had the dolphin sandwich. And I'm sorry to say both were not good at all. It didn't have any flavor and was bland. The fries were soggy and really bad and I had to pay an additional $1.65 to substitute it because it came with chips instead. Also, nothing had cheese included. Not even the philly. That's absurd. You have to add cheese and it's almost an additional $1. With that being said the prices aren't expensive though; pretty cheap. However, it didn't taste good so that $10 sandwich wasn't even worth it. My husband also had the chili. Worth tasting chili I've ever had. It was really sour and it was kinda cold. Now not everything was negative. The service was great. The waiters and waitress and really nice and attentive. There's no assigned waiter and if there is they all help each other out because I received attention from 2 different ones. The environment is friendly and very laid back and there are TVs everywhere. I would definitely not return. They REALLY need to step up their game on the food. I'm telling you it wasn't good AT ALL!

Great place for the anglo community. If you are Hispanic or black or have a Spanish accent , don't bother calling . You will not get service with a smile . The big guy is a down right racist .. If you want a beer and a burger there are plenty of other places in Kendall .. Rgds

If you're in the mood for bar type food, this is a great place to come too. The wings are always spot on and the fries have always been good. I only usually come here for wings but the burgers are great too.

Best Chicken Wings in Miami!!! They are like super super huge! I could not believe the size of these wings!! Definitely give them a try!! 10 wings go for $9 bucks more or less. The ambience is perfect for its setting.... a bar. There is always people around, guys most of the time. It has a pub/bar setting... barely no light, pool table, bar, tables, etc. Check out the Kendall Gazette or the Pinecrest Tribune for your free coupon of 10 wings when you buy 10!! Also other coupons include: 20% off entire check on lunch only (Mon-Thurs) 11am-2pm - eat in only.

Sports grill is known for the their wings and that is it, but they do that so well! My recommendation is to try the Dale Wings or the special grill. If chicken wings is not your thing. Than try the dolphin cesar salad. It is one of my favorites and the staff there knows it. On a side note, once you walk out of that place you will smell like chicken.

    (3)
  • Tricia G.

If you ask me where I've had the best chicken wings ever, I would definitely shout out "SPORTS GRILL" - no hesitation. We frequent this place and order our usual: 10 pc Special Grilled, 10 pc Buffalo, and an order of onion rings. The wings are very meaty, unlike the wings at Buffalo Wild Wings or WingStop. The service is good and the food comes out quick! I'm kind of bummed that the Hammocks location is not quite the same as the Bird and Sunset locations. The Hammocks location does not have the Dale flavored wings (special grilled with Miami Heats flavor), and the onion rings do not come with the yummy chipotle sauce!

... and then I woke up and realized I was way southwest and Rony Romance was telling me not to eat all the wings. Yes, that's the punch line for how I wound up here. I don't remember everything. I know it was a Tuesday. I was in Kendall. There were lots of mini sandwiches, beer, wine, and tomfoolery. Rony Romance brought in a bottle of hooch (to a restaurant). He tricked me into drinking it. Most everyone else left. I was in no condition to drive anywhere without a lot of food and a few hours to figure things out. In hindsight, I'm pretty sure I drank whatever that stuff is that turns you into a zombie. You know, my body moved and I did things, but I wasn't conscious of any of it. After a protracted evening of 'I'll never tee-eells,' I was transported to some magical place called The Hammocks. Oh, Miami. You never fail to entertain me. I glanced around and took note that I was in the middle of a shopping plaza. Where was I? How long have I been out? Why is there a guinea pig in the backseat? The answers to all of these questions had to wait. Rony Romance had determined that I needed wings to end the evening and, at this point, who was I to argue? We walked in and... is that Destiny's Child? In a sports bar? What? I decided to go with it. Little did I know that we were in the midst of a DC playlist and as I would eat my wings, my hands would raise the roof to 'Survivor.' So, I walked to my table to the beat of 'Jumpin', Jumpin'' and I told myself to go with it. This is a Rony Romance production. He goes to the bar and sweet talks the waitress and all of a sudden, we're chugging down "the last" Hatueys in the joint. I don't know how he does the voodoo that he do so well... but I just go with it. Plus, Beyonce is telling me to say her name. As I realize that I'm "ackin' kinda crazay ahnd callin' her baybay," I realize that there are only dudes in the joint. I get it. Sports bars aren't the first place to which I would bring a lady friend but the vibe was much more 'Blue Oyster Bar' than 'Rudy.' As I noticed big, burly men sharing baskets of fries, the DC playlist and lack of sports on the tv... at a sports bar suddenly made sense... as did all the hookups Rony Romance was managing to wrangle from our waitress. What had been a 'closed kitchen' soon served up wings and waffle cheese fries! Holla! I don't know whether it was because I was just coming back to life from a evening my memory still won't let me process, but those wings and fries were #truth. Plus, I mean, WAFFLE CHEESE FRIES! #alwaysagooddecision I don't know how I came here. I'm fairly certain I could never find my way back. It may have all been a feverish dream as I sweated out the last of the hooch toxins. I don't know. All I know that by the time I arrived back at my vehicle (in the dead of night), I was stone cold sober, my mouth and hands were covered in grease, I had cheese stains on my shirt, and my gut hurt from over eating. I love nights with Rony Romance.

im a fan of the sports grill chain, great food, and this location has extremely friendly servers/bartenders. however this location seems like its overdue for a renovation. I recently moved to the hammocks area, and have been to this place 4 times, the bathrooms are DISGUSTING. graffiti everywhere, busted door stalls, discolored/cracked tiles, it always smells. The lack of clean bathroom doesn't give me the peace of mind of knowing the back of the house/kitchen is clean also. And this location is PITCH black, you can't tell if the restaurant is clean because of how dark it is. i have bad eye sight and have a hard time seeing in this place. If they were to renovate it, it would be perfect

  • Lara R.

This place puts the Sports Grill name to shame! Really? I have no idea how so many people give it such great reviews. Lets start by saying that their famous Special Grilled wings don't taste the same as the other locations. The fries come out burned but you wouldn't be able to tell because the only light in this place is from neon signs on the wall and the tint on the front door and windows is so dark you think it night time in the middle of the day. So when you bite into the hard fries you return them just to get burned ones again. I give up. They don't have Sweet Tea but I guess if you are here you are drinking beer which I do have to say is always cold! Now the service here is just Meh. I personally don't like when the waitress tell their whole personally sob story and business to the customers for a better tip while ignoring everyone else! I guess they don't have uniform here because one person was wearing a St. Brendan Elementary School shirt, just plain weird. But what put the icing on the cake was when I noticed that they have a church pew as a bench seat. REALLY!!!!???? What in the world?? Who wants to drink while sitting on a church pew? Not me! Well I am going out on a limb here but I would assume they got that pew at St. Brendan? LOL

Special grilled wings Definitely save this place. They are just that good. The rest of the food is decent but nothing special. The service is normally great. In this location they were pretty good. We we t for a Heat playoff game and 5 minutes before the game they had open tables. That's not a bad thing! Its a hidden gem in this case I'd go back.

I can never say no to this place. Now that I live close by, I'll have to exercise much more if I plan to indulge in these savory wings. Not sure if this is the original location but I've been to quite a few and have always ordered the same thing. - Pitcher of Yuengling - Special Grilled Wings with blue cheese/celery - Fries & melted cheese As far as the rest of the menu, can't really tell you. This is what I get. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!

Always the best wings in Miami , the treatment that we get from everybody is so great . Even the owner always smiling . Thanks Craig for having the sports grill next to my house . Sam.

I didn't have the wings. Could've been our mistake but we came in hungry on New Years Day in the evening. We were in the mood for a good burger. It was eh, less than ok. They don't offer any toppings more special than American cheese on the burgers and the buns aren't even toasted. It's really dark in there so you can't see if the place is dirty or clean. I saw our waiter and his clothes were dirty from head to toe. Ewwww. We also ordered chili cheese fries. The chili was watery and flavorless. To top it off we paid like $30 for 2 burgers and 1 order of chili fries. Wouldn't recommend even if it's the only place open. Make yourself a sandwich at home - you'll thank me. P.S. They only serve beer and wine in this sports "bar".

  • Virginia M.

I like it. It's good. Now, is it great? Meh. Not in my little humble opinion. The location is great for us Kendall folks. We need some good sports bars so kudos for that BUT when I order a sandwich, I don't expect the bread to fall apart as I eat! That was the first time I ever experienced that and it was weird. The Jerk Chicken Sandwich was good just that bread...I can't get over it. My boyfriend had the wings and he noticed something: They are smaller than Hurricane wings. Imagine that. They have less meat on them and their options for wings are limited. DO NOT trust their menu online for this location. Supposedly they had wraps and when I got the menu (which was a piece of wrinkled paper...) no wraps and the menu was limited. Don't trick me! Not fair. Will I go back? Maybe. It's not a resounding yes but you get the point.

My boyfriend and i come here regularly for the special grill wings and waffle fries. I haven't tried anything else on the menu cause we just love those wings so damn much. Try them!

I ordered 10 piece buffalo wings to-go and they were The WORST Wings I've ever had !!!! They were scroney and dry looking wings with no meat on them.. Not to mention the buffalo sauce was not spicy I had to order the hotter sauce

  • Daniel R.

Good place to come and watch a couple of games and pig out. If you're those gym rats, or those that do calorie counting don't even bother coming here. For those of us that can an enjoy a one day splurge come here. The place is some what mid size so when its get packed theres literally no place for anyone to sit. The food is decent, i like the chicken wings and fries they taste pretty good. I really havent tried different foods cause I don't come here often and i usually order the samething chicken wings with fries, but from what my friends order and comments the burgers and fries look yummy they're pretty big. Other than that its nothing special just a regular mini bar / restaurant the name literally says it all.

This will be easily be my favorite sports bar. Their sauces are different from traditional wings. They do normal sauces with a twist that is very tasteful and refreshing.

I came in expecting to not like it as much as the original location. Let me say, I was pleasantly surprised! When we first walked I was a little taken aback by how dark it was inside. They have limo tints on the windows AND they have their hurricane shutters up. This makes sense, since people are there to drink. It was just a bit odd to me at first because I'm used to the other location that, while dim, has tons of lights coming from TV's all over the place. While this Sports Grill didn't have as many TV's, I have to say that I was very impressed with their beer selection on draft. At the other location, I am always forced to drink Amstel light, which is fine but not what I would prefer to order. Here, they have 'premium' drafts like Stella Artois. Mmmmmm...STELLLLLLAAAAAAA!!!! THEN it was time for buffalo style wings and fries. The wings were just as big and juicy as the original location, although we did notice that the sauce recipe was a bit different. There seemed to be more pepper in it. They provided a nice burn on the lips and the back of the throat. Yum-my! The fries came in the form of a mountain...seriously, I don't think we even dented the peak. We noticed that the cheese sauce they brought on the side came hot, which was a HUGE improvement from the original location. All in all, I have to say we were very happy. I'll definitely be back...but something still holds my loyalties to the original location. A certain je ne sais quoi.

There's not much to say about this place. It has hands down, the BEST wings in Miami. I challenge any bar type setting (non fancy wings) to come up with better wings. The Special Grilled are finger licking good, and the price is right. It seems like the trick is in the way they're cooked - grilled and flash fried. The marinade is amazing. The waffle cheese fries are really delicious too. I havent tried anything else on the menu, so I cant really speak to the rest of the food. I've heard they have a solid chicken sandwich. I think these are the best wings I've had ANYWHERE. And I've eaten PLENTY of wings. Service is kind of slow, and not always super friendly, but it kind of goes with the laid back ambiance so it doesn't really bother you.

This place is the bomb dot com!! The chicken wings here are some of the best I've had in all of Miami! They're huge wings with great sauces and flavors. I'm particularly fond of their buffalo wings....heavenly. The buffalo sauce they have is perfection. There's big screen tv's to watch your favorite sporting events and lots o' cold beer flowing. Their sweet tea is also some of the best I've had in Miami as well. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the sports grill locations...they are all delicious...but if you happen to be in the Hammocks, swing by this location because in my opinion it happens to be the best one.

Rule #1: Never Order Wine at a Sports Bar. Why? Because it's LAME. Pathetic. Embarrassing, even. Not to mention it usually tastes like 4-day old pee sampled from an asparagus farmer's porcelain throne. But I defy this logic and brave the urinal cake-esque wine selections for one sole reason: Special Grilled Wings. This review may incite a throwdown of epic proportions, but Sports Grill puts out... THE BEST WINGS IN MIAMI**...ami...ami...ami (that, ladies and gents, was my lame attempt at a written echo) ** If you can imagine Al Roker's obnoxious MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL intro on the Today show, you've got an inkling of an idea of how that *needs* to sound. Not too greasy, slighty crispy and bigger than yo' mamma's Hooters (heh), I dare any other joint to step up and do some serious battle with SG. And they will FAIL. And after said FAIL, I will thrust my grease laden fingers up in the air with an in-yo'-face "V" along with a "booYEAH!" for good measure. But Sports Grill isn't a one trick pony - the jerk chicken ceasar salad is filled to the brim with slightly spicy, tangy pieces of grilled chicken breast and word has it that the Smokin' Joe's Sausage is a menu winner. The smoked fish dip has fresh pieces of whitefish whipped up into a creamy/delectable spread and the Super Bowl Chili packs a wallop with chunks of sirloin steak and enough jalapeno action to snuggle your colon with warmth and love for days on end. While I have a special loyalty to the SG on Sunset Drive, their West Kendall outpost does this Miami-centric chain right. Although they lack Sunset's outdoor seating, the inside resembles a darker, cozier Keg South. Service is friendly and efficient and it's virtually impossible to walk 3 steps without facing a wide screen TV. Bonus? Just about nothing on the menu is over $10. Recession-friendly? Check. A word about the wine: there are 3 house selections available - merlot, chardonnay and white zin. And honestly, their deeply chilled chardonnay isn't half bad - maybe urinal cakes have a viable argument to become Wine Advocate's next "hot" tasting note. But let me save you an incredulous eye roll or two - always refer to Rule #1.

There is no getting over it..... their wings are the best in Miami!!!! It is true! If you dont believe me, head over to Sports Grill and order special grilled wings and then we can talk. AH-MAZING! Come here during a heat game and a dolphins game and they might special raffles going on. On a few occasions, our group have won free round of pitchers, free wings, and tons of more stuff. Drink of choice: beer, beer, and more beer! Like Jaclyn said, the wine is not good there. Probably collecting dust from the last time someone walked in there and ordered wine. Had a friend of my order wine and had the same experience. She said it tasted bitter and old. Just stick with beer and you will be fine. There are also other things that are good here too, just in case you didnt want fries: dolphin sandwich, burgers, grilled and crispy chicken fingers. PS. Order the waffle fries instead of their regular fries. You can thank me later ;)

The service sucked. Waitress not friendly at all. May be because I'm not white, practically threw our plate of food on the table and did not even once came to the table to check on how we were doing and with the other waitress completed the service. Will never come back there!!!!!!

Sports Grill, how I dream of you so often. Until recently, I spent my entire life within twenty minutes of this place, taking for granted the unreal wings they serve. Now that I live in New York, I wake up drooling, just yearning for these wings. The special grilled wings are flavorful, have a perfect kick, are tossed not drenched in sauce and just unheard of. I've gotten people from Doral hooked on these who WILL drive forty minutes for a basket. This place is unsafe for the health conscious, but remember you need to feed your soul from time to time and this will have your spirits so grateful. I've never even tried comparable wings. When you look down and realize that your basket is now a graveyard of bones, you'll be sad..really sad. So you'll mourn by licking your fingers, rubbing your belly and finally taking a breath to catch some fries. Of all the sports grill locations, this one is my favorite and man, it's just my favorite wing spot. Competitors may try, but they will pail in comparison.

I hate to say but Sports Grill is no longer a place to visit, I went last week and they only had to waitresses and the food was awful, cold and the French fries we had to send back...

Sports Grill has THE BEST WINGS in Miami! I've never stayed to eat at the restaurant- we usually just order wings ("special grill" are the best) and pick them up before games, but theres a cool sports bar vibe in the place. It's a dark, no frills sports bar with tons of TVs and beer.

Been coming here for years. The service is always attentive and the special grilled wings are top notch. Place is a little grimey, but I like my local neighborhood sports bar that way.

Getting better. All they need for another star is new bar stools. They're old and wobbly. Don't let that stop you, they have great service. The food also comes out quickly

Best wings I have ever had. Period! I discovered this place many years ago & fell in love with the SPECIAL GRILLED WINGS. Did you hear/read me?! SPECIAL GRILLED WINGS!!! This will be one of the few places where I will refuse to order anything but these wings & an order of cheese fries. I have no idea what else they have on the menu nor do I care. As long as they have what I need, I'll be there. SGW!!!

straight o.g. sports grill. wings so good, make you wanna slap yo momma: youtube.com/watch?v=aFsE… it's not really the o.g., which is the one on sunset, but it's by far the best one. georgia bbq wings and waffle fries are the go to items. beer selection is alright, not as good as the one in somi, but it works. they upgraded their tv's to flat screens, so that's always a good thing.

The wings were great ! A nice hangout to catch a game with a very vivid crowd. Prices were just right and the service was top notch !!

Let me start by saying that my preferred Sports Grill locations are the Sunset and Bird road locations. I have a friend at work who raves about this Hammocks location and forced me to check it out. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon during a World Cup game, and it was somewhat full. We ordered some special grilled and barbecue wings. I wasn't blown away, or anything. The special grilled wings were good, but not better than the other locations. The barbecue was pretty good, there was something quite different about them, particularly in the sauce, which made them far better than any barbecue wing elsewhere. The fries were rubbish. They looked like "pico-tillo" (what is usually left at the bottom of a potato chip bag) The beer was cold, but it took the server a while to bring us a bag of ice and to finally bring the tab around. I actually had to get up and find the waitress, because I was ready to get out of there for twenty minutes, and couldn't wait any longer. So, I guess I might be too harsh on this SG location because of all the hype built around it by people I know. Also, it isn't worth the drive from where I live, so I'll stick to the ones closer to me.

Best grilled wings, hands down. Seriously, best wings in Miami. If you've never tried them, you are missing out on spicy perfection. Great burgers, hot dogs, and their mahi mahi is really fantastic. The grilled mahi mahi atop their salad is my sister's favorite. Forget trying to get in here on big game days, it's packed. Don't expect Ritz bathrooms, this is a sports bar, and your feet tend to stick to the floors. But once you give their wings or burgers a try, you'll never notice anything else.

Right off the bat I loved the lay out and how the place looks, seems to me that place would be great to watch football! One downer to me was me was the smoke from the kitchen, you could smell everything that was cooking. The 10 Buffalo style wings I ordered were big and almost all wings which is a good thing, but the flavor was not the best tasted kind of sour with no tang. I still love the place and will back and give them another chance.

They dont get 5 stars just because their exaust system SUCKS.... The food and the ambiance great..When I get home I have to take my clothes off in the garage as the smell rancid from all the smoke out of the kitchen its unbearable once out of there. But I keep goinn back, one of these days they will surprize us and the smoke will be gone. As long as their food remains as goods as we love it, I got enough clothes to change once I get home !!!

Good Place to come enjoy watching the game and some wings.. Pros: cheap prices and the wings are pretty amazing although buffalo alone is medium and kind of spicey. Their Waffle Fries are insanely good and addicting I recommend orderingt it. They have stuff I think for everyones taste here. Cons: You really dot know who works here and who doesnt unless your a frequent customer. They dont have unifomrs, and you seat yourself, just walk in and find a table, the first time I wasnt sure. Its a nice place to chill have a beer and wings and watch the game.

I never liked wings and I hated BBQ sauce, but that was before I was introduced to sports grill. Their wings are awesome! Super tasty and their BBQ sauce is so good. I also love the tenders and fries. Speaking of fries; they are homemade style, my fave! I always look forward to the fries here. Food comes out hot and fast. Service could be a little better but I will admit that it has improved since the first time I came here 4 years ago. They've got huge flat panel TV's everywhere, games for the kids, and a huge bar. Sports Grill in hammocks is always a win. I'm never let down. I will also say that the hammocks location is the best sports grill out of all of them. Here's to good eating!

My boyfriend actually got me into liking this restaurant a lot. We go probably two or three times a week. I crave their delicious Sports Burger on any given day. They are soooo good! Like anyone else would say, the wings are indeed awesome.

Dark and hidden in a strip mall in the middle of Kendall. The place is not fancy at all. It's a sports bar and grill so you'll find yourself surrounded by TV's and what not. Let me first say that the wings here are really good. They just are. If you're feeling brave or just like eating hot stuff get the "Miami Heats" and remember to grab some napkins for when your boogers start dripping out of your nose. The staff in this place is friendly, and if you actually get to know them you will find out these people have worked here for years. This is good food at excellent prices in a very casual setting.

It's been a few months since I've been. Decided to fire a review because a friend of mine asked about it the other day. I should probably give them a five. But I'm not going to go there just yet. Last time I was there it seemed like the wings were getting smaller. Maybe it was just an anomaly. I'll update to a five if I see improvement. What can you say about a wing joint? Get yourself a reasonably priced pitcher of draft beer, wings, and watch sports on television. 'Nuff said. Oh, they have seasoned curly fries too! My personal fav is the special grill. Getcha some.

I feel weird giving this place five stars, only because it's one of the few restaurants I could confidently say I've consumed. Like every aspect of it. Beer, food, ambience, employees. Obviously, I haven't consumed the employees because I'd probably be in jail right now. I would still try to write a yelp review in jail, though. Probably of cafeteria in my maximum security prison. I'd probably give it a modest 3 stars. Been going to this Sports Grill for five years now. I'm a regular there and the place is just real comforting. I live five minutes away from it and it's just a great place to hang. Great food, especially the chicken wings which are no joke. Special Grilled chicken wings are the most flavorful, mild wings you could ever have in Miami. A seasoning that contains buffalo sauce and Worcestershire to create a real smoky, spicy flavor that is not overwhelming at all... but still inhabits a kick. Fries are fantastic. You eat these with the wings and you're good. They're seasoned and crispy. Just great. They have a regular selection of beer. Nothing too extravagant. Only complaint I have, food-wise, is the Sports Burger. Not a fan of the bread they use, and the burger could use a little bit of seasoning. I think they sell burger seasoning, don't they? Not sure, but they should invest in some. That burger could be perfect with some seasoning. Grilled cheese is sort of an underrated dish. It's also really cheap, but filling. I've had their Dolphin sandwich. It's really good if you have it blackened. Tenders and Fries are a very simple but delicious dish. You can even have the cooks special grill your chicken tenders for that premium flavor. This place is just comfortable and really inviting. I love this place a lot and I'll probably continue to frequent here as long as I live in Miami.

This place gets busy on game nights, but can be a lot of fun. The wings are great along with pretty much everything else. Don't expect awesome service though!

This is literally 3 minutes down the street from my house so on a lazy day we come here to have a couple of beers, burgers, and wings. This place has the best wings ever..I have tried wings at other sports bars and no one can compare. However, this is an older establishment and it is in desperate need of a makeover. I was pleasantly surprised that they upgrade there TV's to flat screens but they really need to work on the decor..the tables and booths are super old and look like they are going to fall apart soon..but the food keeps me coming back. I am sure they will eventually upgrade the decor as they already started with the TVs. I you love wings..this is the best place to satisfy your appetite. They also have crushed ice and fountain coke..my favorite way to drink a soda.

this is probably my favorite restaurant in kendall. it's a darkly lit, t.v.s everywhere, dirty floor, beer flowing, burgers and wings kind of place. actually that's what gets me everytime... the wings. they're the best bar wings in miami (in my opinion). i like me some HOT wings, but actually the 'special grill' are the best. they're not that hot, but they sure are tasty. they have some great, cheap lunch specials. burgers, dolphin sandwiches, chicken tenders, etc. all for $5. as much as i HATE kendall and i always leave smelling like wings and beer and a little sticky from all the spilled drinks. but man are they worth it!

Being a part of Miami and never coming to a Sports Grill should be considered a sin. All of them serve delicious food and every single one that I have been to, whether it be the one on Bird, Sunset, or this one, has been exceptional. It is definitely one of my favorite places to watch sports, drink, hang out with friends, and eat. Whenever I can't decide what I am craving, I somehow end up here and always leave without complaints. The service is great most of the time with friendly waitresses that are willing to chat and actually make your time there enjoyable. They are not there just to serve your food. The best part about this place are the Wings. Definitely the best I have ever eaten in my life. Sports Grill is known for its wings and rightfully so, because they never disappoint. My personal favorite are the Special House Grilled. Other stand outs include the onion rings, fish dip, and tuna melt. The burger can be either hit or miss but I have never really been wowed by them.
